There is a slight difference between The Alan and most of our furniture designs.  While we generally name each novel creation after the brave customer who orders it from us, The Alan comes from none other than renowned designer, Alan Parsons, most famous for his Parsons Style table. As most builders, designers and engineers know, if it’s not broke, don’t fix it!  We made sure to stay true to that creed, Parson’s aesthetic, and a design that has suited some of the best furniture makers across several generations.    

We construct the tabletop from 1.5″-thick, sustainably and locally sourced solid wood. Beyond being an attractive focal piece for your dining area, our environmentally-friendly sourcing methods limit environmental degradation while providing your home with a substantial material that can handle the wear and tear of dinners, parties, and life in general.    

The open space between the legs of The Alan allows for unencumbered legroom from end to end, and side to side.  This can be helpful when you’re trying to fit as many guests as possible, when your party gets a little wilder than usual.
